Zachary James Broadway, West End, film and tv actor and opera singer is a 2022 Grammy Award winner for Best Opera Recording. He was named the BroadwayWorld Vocalist of the Decade 2010-2020, Classical Post’s Most Innovative Artist, Verismo Magazine’s Breakout Artist of the Year and is among Opera Wire’s 30 Most Influential LGBTQ+ Artists. He starred as Hades in the original West End cast of Hadestown in London, as Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame in the West End, created the role of Lurch in The Addams Family on Broadway, was in the original Broadway cast of the Tony Award winning South Pacific at Lincoln Center, made his Broadway debut in the play, Coram Boy, and played Caiaphas in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl. Off-Broadway credits include creating the role of Karl in the world premiere of Jen Silverman’s play, Spain, at 2nd Stage, Pasquale in The Most Happy Fella and Jo-Jo in Irma la Douce, both with Encores at New York City Center.
